Sunset Camel Trek in Merzouga
Your experience starts approximately 1 hour before sunset, when you arrive at Merzouga. After parking your vehicle in a safe location, you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you mount your camel, your source of light, and start an hour and a half camel trek at the Erg Chebbi dunes.
During this ride, you’ll experience the Sahara’s cool stillness. We’ll pause at the tallest dunes, where you can sit and watch the sunset turn the sky orange and gold.
The more adventurous can climb to the top, enjoying a panoramic view, while others prefer to appreciate the tranquil air at its base. You can also go sandboarding if you really want to make a trip of it.
