Merzouga 4x4 Desert Trip
Your 4×4 desert Trip begins with pickup from your accommodation in Merzouga. If conditions allow, you’ll first visit Dayet Srij, a seasonal lake that fills during wetter months and attracts flamingos and other migratory birds rare and beautiful sight in the heart of the desert. Next, we’ll head to Khamlia Village, home to many dark-skinned residents originally from Mali, known for their powerful Gnawa music and warm hospitality.
The adventure goes on when you summon a nomadic Berber family, where you will experience their traditional lifestyle, learn desert survival, and drink tea in the tents. Then, visit the M’fis fossil and lead mines, an awe-inspiring location filled with natural history.
Finally, you will be driven across the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes on the way back to Merzouga, completing a unique and immersive Sahara experience that you will never forget. We will then bring you back to your accommodation, concluding this unforgettable tour.
