9 Days Tour From Casablanca Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat

Upon arrival at Casablanca airport, your private driver/guide will greet you and take you on a tour of Casablanca before heading to Rabat. In Casablanca, you’ll visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque outside of Mecca.

Next, continue to Rabat, the Moroccan capital, where you’ll explore the Hassan Tower and wander through the Oudaya Kasbah. The day will conclude with check-in at your riad/hotel for the night.

Day 2: Rabat - Ouazzan - Chefchaouen

After breakfast, leave Rabat and head north to the enchanting “Blue City” of Chefchaouen. On the way, we’ll stop at the picturesque village of Ouazzan and enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue your journey to the serene city of Chefchaouen, tucked away in the Rif Mountains. Known for its striking blue-painted streets and laid-back atmosphere, Chefchaouen promises a unique experience. Upon arrival, check into your riad/hotel for the night.

Day 3: : Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

After breakfast, you’ll leave Chefchaouen and head towards the historic Roman ruins of Volubilis. Enjoy a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, exploring its well-preserved structures and stunning mosaics that glimpse the Roman Empire’s rich history.

Next, visit Meknes for a traditional lunch and explore the famous Bab Mansour gate and El Hedim Square. In the evening, continue to Fes, where you’ll check in to a cozy riad for the night.

Day 4: Explore Fes with a local guide

After a hearty breakfast in your riad, our day in Fes begins with a guided tour, delving into the city’s deep history and vibrant culture. We’ll wander through the lively medina, stopping to admire notable landmarks.

Key highlights will include the Jewish Quarter, the Royal Palace, and the famous tanneries, where leather continues to be crafted using age-old techniques. We’ll also visit the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, home to the world’s oldest university.

Following lunch, we’ll take in sweeping views of the city before heading back to a delightful riad for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 5: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou (Cedar forest) - Midelt - Merzouga Sahara

After breakfast at your riad, you’ll set off from Fes toward Merzouga. Our journey will take us through Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and into the stunning Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll stop at the cedar forests to observe the playful Barbary macaques.

Enjoy a delightful lunch in Midelt before continuing toward Merzouga, passing through the scenic Ziz Valley. By afternoon, we’ll arrive in Merzouga and embark on a thrilling camel trek to a luxury desert camp nestled in the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll witness a mesmerizing sunset over the sand.

After sunset, we’ll continue to the camp to indulge in a traditional Moroccan dinner. Afterward, experience the rhythms of Saharan drumming, listen to captivating stories, and unwind while stargazing under the vast desert sky.

Day 6: Merzouga Sahara - Rissani - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges

Begin your day early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy a delightful breakfast at the camp. Afterward, we’ll drive through Erfoud, a town famous for its rich fossil history, before continuing to the impressive Todra Gorges. Surrounded by towering cliffs, you can take a leisurely walk along the river, soaking in the spectacular views.

Next, we’ll head to the Dades Gorges, where a delicious dinner will be served, followed by a peaceful overnight stay at a charming riad/hotel.

Day 7: Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

After a tasty breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic journey towards Ouarzazate through the Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses. Along the way, we’ll make a stop to visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah.

Next, we’ll continue to Ait Ben Haddou for lunch, followed by a tour of the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah, renowned for its roles in films like Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia.

Our adventure continues as we drive through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, passing traditional Berber villages, stunning waterfalls, and picturesque valleys. We’ll navigate the iconic Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech, the vibrant red city. Enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel/riad.

Day 8: Full day to Explore Marrakech with a local guide

After a delightful breakfast at your riad, begin your guided morning tour of Marrakech, known as the “Red City of Morocco.” Your knowledgeable guide will lead you through the city’s most iconic historical and cultural sites, including the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Tombs, the beautiful Bahia Palace, and the Ben Youssef Koranic School. Continue with a relaxing walk through the medina’s winding alleys, where you’ll observe local artisans at work, eventually reaching the bustling Jemaa El-Fna Square.

Savor lunch at a nearby restaurant, then visit the peaceful Majorelle Gardens and take a short tour of Gueliz, the modern district of Marrakech.

Day 10: Transfer to the Airport (Marrakech or Casablanca)
